Plantar warts are hard, painful growths that appear on the sole, especially in high-pressure areas.

Unlike calluses, they are viral infections caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV), which enters through small cracks in the skin and can be mistaken for a callus.

At FD-Clinic we have a latest-generation pulsed laser, which can be used alone or in combination. Diagnosis is clinical, with no need for a prior culture.

The laser raises the temperature where the viruses reside and produces vasodilation: thermal biostimulation repairs the tissues while hyperthermia eliminates the virus.
